Wood in gardens
Wood is long-lived and robust, with scope for variety and individual applications. This is particularly true in the open air, where it can be put to all sorts of uses: as terrace decking, pergola, screening, for noise attenuation, in carports or for children's outdoor play equipment. Wood makes any garden and any terrace unique.
Wood is a natural product and very much en vogue. Modern architecture and garden design are neither willing nor able to do without this renewable raw material. It's always an eye catcher – whether with the patina that untreated wood acquires, or impregnated and carefully looked after.
