Substructure
We recommend using wood of a durability class as least as good as that of the decking.
Available choice:
- acacia robinia 40 x 77 mm durability class 1
- tropical woods 45 x 70 mm durability class 2
- larch 45 x 70 mm durability class 3
- thermally modified ash 45 x 70 mm durability class 1
Important information:
- Space between joists should be 40 – 50 cm
- Gap width for boards at least 7 mm!
- Gap between board and joist at least 5 mm, between joist and ground at least 30 mm!
